Batch Beacon gives your team a single view of asynchronous Apex health. It brings job status, failures, execution trends and performance together in one Lightning app, so developers and administrators can find problems quickly and act on them without leaving Salesforce.
What it monitors
- Batch Apex for processing large volumes of records
- Queueable Apex for chained background work
- Scheduled Apex for jobs that run on a schedule
- Future methods that run asynchronously
Key capabilities
- Health banner: see at a glance whether any job failed in the last 24 hours.
- 24-hour summary: total, successful, failed and in-progress jobs, with a success rate measured against a target.
- Trend chart: job activity over 7, 14 or 30 days, with total, daily average and peak day.
- Per-class details: runs, failures and success rate for every Apex class, searchable and sortable.
- Recent executions: filter by job type and status, then abort or re-run supported jobs.
- Insights: the classes that fail most often and the ones that run slowest.
- Failure alerts: switch notifications on or off from the header.
- Live updates: the dashboard refreshes by itself when job information changes.
How it works
- Salesforce runs your asynchronous jobs as usual.
- Batch Beacon collects them on a schedule, or on demand with Sync now.
- Your team monitors, analyses and acts from one dashboard.
Safe operational control
Abort a single job, a selection of jobs, or everything running, with a confirmation step before anything is stopped. Re-run is limited to finished Batch and Queueable jobs, so you never restart something that should not be restarted.
Who it is for
Salesforce developers and administrators who want to spot failures fast, track performance over time and take safe action on jobs.
