Estimate Poker lets agile teams size their backlog together without leaving Salesforce. Everyone votes privately, the cards are revealed at the same time, and every estimate is saved as a Salesforce record. No new tools, no new logins and no data leaving your org.
The problems it removes
- Anchoring bias: the first number spoken becomes everyone’s number.
- Seniority pressure: junior engineers defer instead of flagging risk.
- Meeting drift: endless debate with no way to converge.
- No paper trail: estimates are made out loud and never written down.
- Another SaaS tool: a separate poker app with separate accounts and data.
How a session works
- Build a team. Add members, each linked to their Salesforce user.
- Open a room. Start a room with a shareable code and pick a card scale.
- Load the backlog. Add stories with a title, description and acceptance criteria.
- Vote. Everyone picks a card in private and can add a comment and a confidence level.
- Reveal. Flip all cards at once and see the spread, average, median and outliers.
- Discuss and finalise. Vote again if opinions differ, then lock in the final estimate.
Key features
- Real-time collaboration, so remote teams feel like they share one table
- Instant statistics and a consensus check on every reveal
- Fibonacci, modified Fibonacci, T-shirt sizes, powers of 2 or your own custom scale
- Optional voting timer to keep sessions brisk
- Presence and quick reactions to see who is in the room
- Session intelligence: progress, estimate spread and overall complexity
- Guided onboarding and an in-app help centre
Roles
Three ready-made permission sets cover Team Members who vote and comment, Facilitators who run rooms and record final estimates, and Administrators who manage teams and oversee all data.
Why not a standalone tool?
Estimate Poker uses your existing Salesforce login, sits inside the org your security team has already approved, and stores every session, vote and final estimate as native data you can report on. There is no per-user subscription for a separate product.
Who it is for
Agile delivery teams, Salesforce consultancies and internal centres of excellence, and project teams that need estimation history for forecasting.
